Bikash-da,

I was thinking about your allegation - I think Baptist church is a local church
group - not like Roman Catholic Church which is controlled from Rome. At
Harvard I saw a movie based in El Salvador showing how missionaries were
providing firearms to the poor indegeous people thus a priest was shot dead by
the authorities and I tried to show it as falsified info -and then a classmate
from that country said that she (hailing from rich group) has witnessed how the
missionaires do that.

A professor said that Catholic country Mexico asked Jesuits (who run top
schools and colleges in India - like the one I studied in St Xavier School) to
leave the country - though they are part of the Catholic church --ince they
were accused of inciting the poor Native Americans to fight against the ruling
classes. My understanding is that in 1960s the Roman Catholic Church decided to
combat communism by becoming pro-poor even to the extent of antagonizing the
ruling Christian groups and./or fighting against them.

That was an interesting documentary -
http://www.ibnlive.com/videos/23704/nscn-im-draws-youth-by-hordes.html

shows that in India too (like Pakistan and Iraq and Afghanistan) there are
areas where religion based militias operate and rule - regardless of the govt
at the center.

I took time to reply you as was looking for a missing link from a TV
coverage.Long ago BBC,CNN IBN and Times Now Tv shown how Naga militant operates
openly from the Churches. Those people in Indian military uniform are not our
soldiers, all militants operating openly and al the law are in their
hands.Indian judiciary or constitution is far cry.One of the link was
telecatested today, so my job comes handy-
  http://features.ibnlive.com/special/web2/indias-hidden-wars.html

Time gives good fruits. In general the christian missionaries are playing very
dirty role in the NE region.During Assam agitation begining we caught one red
cros jeep ambulance with arms and ammunitions in the evening at my home
town. That was in 1979's.WE handed over them to police.since tehre was somewhat
breakdown was there.sorowfully al the missioneries in the NE region do uses a
red cross vehicle for anything. There is no ban by the WHO or Govt.Ramdos dnt
know till now. Militancy grown more with the christian populations and
brutalities too.Whether Nagaland or other parts, all operations starts with the
Church as head office.I wonder if God(Jesus) told to kill all or create panic
with the civilizations. This video will clear all.Otherwise why Naga people
talk so taugh? What they have there???Once Nagaland provided large number of
Army/Air force/Police oficers to the country with bravery. All days gone. Now not
a single.Student come to Bangalore or rest of India for high
education and go back. But they again pick up the gun against the same nation
who gave them light and educations to the civilizations.Where one need go for
bath 2 km down stream, but enjoys the lovely shower at Bangalore like place.
Indian Air force transport planes like IL 76,AN 32 routinely airdrop
food, groceries,Goat, Egg,Kerosine,Diesel etc to Nagaland and Kashmir at free or
minimum Rs.1 or 2- where as we pay up by Rs.100 for that.Still due to free
facilities these two region talk against the land which provides them all for
free.- Un believable! But ture. Hence the question of Tax never come there.
Now election time. And one must know what is election in NE remote places. In
the last election I was in my native. The DC was in the HO quoting Delhi told
him to be available 24/7 in his office. All the Bodoland areas booth was
captured by the Bodo militants with AK57.Govt provided adequate security in
paper??? A home guard with a lathi!!! 2 militant used to sit under the Voting
machine table covered with a bed sheet. When the voter come to press the
buton/place seal on the balot, the gun toing man will ask to go back stating
that his viting is done.Democracy.
Same thing happens in Nagaland. The opresiding oficer will be a local
teacher/Doctor who need to think for his family life.Generally it is the family
to face their brutality and anger, not Delhi.
So now realise the future elections.... in a democracy.Free feeding- breast
feeding and a kick in the back too.

  Bikash-da,

what you say makes sense. I was misled since in US there is state income tax
also unlike India where only Govt of India from Delhi charges income tax. If
Nagaland does not have income tax it means Indian govt is not charging any
income tax and logically NSCN is allowed to loot the people in the name f
"Nagalim for Christ"

Umesh
PS: Many states in US do not charge income tax - like Florida etc - but in
India that is not an option since only central govt allowed to charge income tax

DR BIKASH KUMAR DAS <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi Umesh,
Dnt get shock- its true.No income tax lime you and me pay to the govt of
India. All Naga people pay routine tax to NSCN groups.Thats enough. So the NSCN
asked Delhi for their Army and currencies.Govt refused. So the tension
is.Otherwise Nagaland is independant !! There is secret understanding between
Delhi and them.Only ULFA was mislead by Bangla. They to could have enjoyed VVIP
security at Delhi and free air to any country to come back to Delhi for
meetings. There Naga money are nothing but the Rhino killing at Kaziranga.

It seems land is costly in Nagaland or that the politicans are not as clever as
in North India - or perhaps likes of Lalu Yadav in showing much less property
thn they actually have

No income tax ?? whats that?
