Why is India being dragged here? General Question: India even went to the extent of fighting with China to extend her support to Dalia Lama and to be on principle. Shouldn't that be appreciated? Indian history is mostly a history of wars. In fact these religions of the common people, whether Buddhism or Taosim or Vaishnavism or Christianity for that matter, do not really have any affect on the ruling class. Religions have been interpreted time and again in all countries to justify wars. In the middle age, the most devastating attacks on Europe came from the Mongols, from Buddhist China.
