<I have a 2004 Mercedes C240 with 46000 miles. a couple days ago I was at a
traffic light and when I tried to accelerate the car wouldnt move. I ended up
towing it home. I tried to drive it about 300 feet and when I stopped and
pressed on gas again the car wouldnt move. I scanned it and and the codes read
P0715 input/ turbine speed sensor A and P0730 gear ratio incorrect. I dont
understand any of this. Does anyone know exactly what this is. I read somewhere
it was a common problem, its the turbine input speed sensor in the
transmission. its mounted on a plastic plate and the plate tends to crack, with
a cracked plate the sensor sends the wrong input speed to the computer and the
computer is confused by these signals. Is this true and how much should this
cost in repairs??>
