Assam varsity awarded

SILCHAR, May 23 – In recognition of being a part of the team facilitating the
growth and development of Trenchless Technology, Assam University, Silchar
recently received an award from Indian Society for Trenchless Technology. The
award was received by Prof Tapodhir Bhattacharjee, Vice-Chancellor, Assam
University from the chairman of Indian Society of Trenchless Technology at
India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on May 16.
Prof Topodhir Bhattacharjee said that this award which has been conferred on
the varsity for the year 2007-08, is an asset for the entire Assam University
fraternity.
