Girl saved by snake charmer

BOKAKHAT, June 9: In a most extraordinary manner, a young girl of 12 years had
been saved after being bitten by a snake with chanting mantras by a bej.
Khogeswar Bora, the bej chanted mantras to revive Anju who was bitten by a
snake measuring 10 feet by length while collecting woods near her house. Bora
removed the venom from the area bitten. He didn’t allow people to kill the
snake, on the contrary set it free in the jungle.
It is noteworthy that Khogeswar Bora is a well-known figure in Xatriya culture
who is a resident of Kailakhat, Bokakhat.
