S: These are easy things to fall for. More so if the sender is someone you know to be an intelligent and thoughtful person. I could have accepted Dilip's judgement, had it not been for a moment of doubt. Doubt that stemmed from the comparative sizes of the moon and Mars in the normal sky, being hugely different. So I wondered, how, even a close orbit of the Mars could make it look so huge? Is it true? If it is, what could the explanation be? That is why I Googled , to see how the two could appear to be of similar size. Not because I doubted Dilip's judgement for example :-).
