While I read and thereafter post items to assamnet, I suppress my
natural urge to express my personal views. I suppose it happens to
other Netters.
After reading the Bollywood edition of Newswallah together with
'Chennai's Magical, Musical season' , I decided that the demise of
traditional Indian Performing arts has not happened, will not happen.
In this Andhra and TamilNadu have helped keep them alive.And then the
contribution of the expatriate teams in them! It is remarkable. And I
see, Houston where some of our Assamese families live, is mentioned.
It also appears to me that the presence of the American journalists in
the Indian capitals' political, social and cultural scene is very much
evident.
