I know, in fact I tried Oyster (from the same family, I guess) once in an 'authentic' Chinese restaurant - 'Oyster in brown sauce' - was hoping to bite on a pearl too. The sauce tasted good, even swallowed part of an oyster too - got sick, threw up all night and gave up being adventurous on that line. :)
