The point I made was that MORE participation in charitable efforts could
happen, if good examples are seen. Of getting things accomplished.

Of course there have been good efforts. Things are getting done. But is it
the norm? We have participated in a number of efforts, individually and
collectively. Our individual efforts have been rewarding. The reason is
that we are extremely selective and careful. But the collective efforts had
only mixed results or no results.
