Kannappan is a chemical engineer whom I have known from the early 70's when he was a grad student at UT. He has become a wheeler-dealer amongst Houston telegu community. He made statements to the public which dilip forwarded to me that are erroneous. He does not know anything about water regulation in Texas, water rights, LCRA andTexas water politics. The water hustlers are more powerful than the oil barons. He made statement about the Rio Grande compact between Mexico and US completely erroneous. He has no idea about the agreement, composition of the IBWC, operation of Amistad and Falcon International reservoirs etc. and yet he is a big guy. This is goingto be a big boon doggle.
Kannappan says he has connection to our current presidents, both here and India.
So there it is. I do not know where it is leading. With the oppositin in India, nowhere immediately, I believe. US is not providing any money with the deficit nos we see from the budget.
Thats my take on it, folks. I am waiting to hear more.
