Evolution is always in progress in most things and democratic concept is no exception. But each period has it's own dynamics. We have to accept things, the way the current/prevailing situation demands. We simply cannot behave today in accordance with the laws/concepts of the days to come, hoping morrow will bring new concepts of our individual vision. Therefore, in a society, people generally accept the norms and laws of the day.
