Hi A:

What is so terribly wrong with the nation's capital?

I blame Delhi for a lot of the nation's ills. But in my case Delhi represents
a centralized, imperial, obsolete and effete power political and
administrative structure. I don't attack Delhi the city or its people. But
the folks in the ToI comments site tell a horrific tale. If these comments
do reflect the realities of Delhi, or of other major metro areas of the
country, then India has a serious problem that is getting worse by the
day.Not something anyone could feel good about.

Why do you think it is going the way it is?

And why did it take a 'phoren' diplomat's rape to bring attention to the
problem? Don't Indian women's plight count?
