I agree with you. "Home" is where you make it. Some of the Desis are totally comfortable being in USA or UK, and some are always talking about going back "Home". I think it all depends on the person. Like another question Kamal posed earlier, there is no definite yes or no answer.<<
Dilipda,a small clarification is warranted for.I used the phrase " feeling completely at home" in synonymity with " total assimilation".It seems to me that Indian immigrants have multiple personalities.It is the horrifying realisation that the cocoon we snuggled into so comfotably also hangs in unending space.And that desolation is part of everyone of us.
