I did not know that so much conversion to Islam has taken place in Assam. I do know that anywhere the muslims come into the majority - the hardliners among them start armed campaigns for freedom --example Chechen, the western province of China, Bosnia , Kashmir etc. Pakistan, Bangladesh too have been created that way.
Most muslim majority states -have chosen the Muslim religious code -to be the ultimate law -- so there is room for conjecture at MULFA (Muslim ULFA) etc will start their demands soon.
