The word punor-ut.than may be used for Revivalism Nobo-protist.han may be another Assamese
word.
Regarding usage of any Indian
language words, all Indians now a days use about 50% English words in their day
to day conversation. If one open any Hindi or Bengali magazine, all report
in regional language are full of English words. Watch a Hindi movie
dialog. Probably every third word is an English word.
Assamese are fast following like a
loyal litikai. Smart boys in Guwahati now a days like to speak in Hindi.
In the literary circle, Assamese I think still use many Assamese words in
short stories and novels compared to the Bengalis. Even short stories in
popular Bengali 'Desh' are now a days full of English words.
This is the state of affairs of the
poor Indians.
