Justice Shri Sailendu Nath Phukan Shri Sarat Mahanta Sahri R.N. Sharma, IAS Shri B.P.Rao, IPS Shri N. Sapcota These are the names found in the link http://nhrc.nic.in/shrc.htm#no3 Thanks to Tasir, Ritesh and Partha regarding Partha's question "Who in Guwahati can file an RTI act?" To my knowledge the RTI act has guidelines that some information should be made available (they are obliged to under Section 4 of the RTI Act). It comes into force on the 12th October, 2005 (120th day of its enactment on 15th June, 2005) - more http://persmin.nic.in/RTI/WelcomeRTI.htm Apparently, inconsistently low-morale Tarun Gogoi (current chief minister of Assam) has failed Assam on RTI according to the survey by Centre for Civil Society, Delhi see http://www.ccs.in/ccsindia/dtp/DTPI-states-summary.pdf Also see firdous siddique message in assamonline archive http://groups.yahoo.com/group/assamonline/message/2959 Regards, Rabin Re: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/assamonline/message/3061 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/assamonline/message/3063 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/assamonline/message/3064 Dr. Sashanka E-mail : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
