Dear Friends

It seems that the Netziens have taken the Ambani thing quite seriously. Forget
Ambani and come to do some serious business of BANDHS.

I would like to inform that my PIL(PIL No 72\2005) against the Bandhs of Assam
in the Guwahati High Court is not progressing way it should be. As everything
is being done out of my pocket and no professional fee was paid to the legal
team, I think the legal team have also lost some zeal. I am not being able to
push the case and get it listed for past seven months through the maze of
thousands of cases, where vested interests are always getting preference over
PIL.

Unlike the Apex court, the Guwahati High Courts is not a pro active one. I
appeal to all the netziens to write individual letters to the Chief Justice of
Guwahati High Court urging him to dispose the case as the Apex court had given
a verdict on the DMK bandh case. The letter can be sent through registered Post
or Couriered to CJ, Guwahati High Court, Lataseel, Guwahati 781001.

Since the case was against 19 strongest organisations of Assam ranging from
AASU to AJYCP, enough enemies have already been made. I want anti bandh
lobby\group should not be confined to net groups or statements.

I will urge the fellow netziens to file compensation cases in the Guwahati High
Court, against those who have called for the bandh and demand huge fines.
Series of such cases should do wonder.

I have noticed the positive attitude of all the netziens to do something for
Assam. Please do this favour to Assam. Pressurise the CJ to dispose the case.
There is no money involvement here. Only thing you have to do to come out of
your computer screen and show some guts to withstand the possible backlash.

But that’s worth it.

Please send a copy to me also with your complete postal address, so that I can
produce these in the court if the case get listed in the next one month.
