Dear Group Members, Thanks a lot to Umesh and Mukul for posting comments on the statement of BHRPC. The objection raised by them are serious. But I think in the statement there is nothing to object because the statement does not accuse any people considering their creed, caste, religion, language or place of birth. It just attacked the chauvinist mind set of the Assamese people. So who are not chauvinists should not take offense.
