Padmashree Surjya Hazarika was felicitated by Bokakhat Press Club in a function held in the office premises recently. Bhobananda Kalita, secretary of the club gave the welcome address by highlighting Hazarika's various contribution in the field of literature, culture, journalism and printing of books and acknowledge him as the valuable jewel of India. Hazarika expressed his gratitude for giving such felicitation to the club members. He will even lead a team to London for spreading Asomiya literature with the cooperation of Asom Xahitya Xabha to discuss the matter with English publishers to publish 100 Asomiya books for foreign readers.
