This is irrational primitive thinking resting in supposedly Mature Educated minds.Shocked to learn that 17 lacs have been earmarked for this Inhuman ritual that smells only of disgusting Uncivilized thinking pattern. So many development projects could have been funded by this whopping amount. No wonder why China is way out of India's league and is going to don Super Power status soon. People go to a temple to workship and find solace and peace. Kamakhya Mandir on the contrary smell of Bloodshed and Death. It has long lost its pristine sacred status. I remember visiting the temple in my childhood and after seeing baby goats being slaughtered right before my eyes, I vomited and vowed never to enter this temple again. These people are diseased and GOD please put them out of their miseries. ~ Arindam Chanda Connecticut, USA
