Long long ago when Adi Sankaracharya arrived at Kamakhya to assimilate the place of worship in his Samskar of Hinduism. He was about to be sacrificed to its alter. Saved by accident that the person who was supposed to kill him was struck by death. Others got scared but did not stop. Adi was poisoned but yey he recovered but its reverse affect the administrator of the chrime died. Kamakhya become one of the Pithas as much as Vaishnav Devi Hinglaj etc. The inhuman nature oh human beings did not stop - can't stop.

People go to a temple to workship and find solace and peace. Kamakhya Mandir on the contrary smell of Bloodshed and Death. It has long lost its pristine sacred status. I remember visiting the temple in my childhood and after seeing baby goats being slaughtered right before my eyes, I vomited and vowed never to enter this temple again.
