Next Chutia Convention at Bokakhat
In a meeting held at Bokakhat, it was decided that the next Chutia
Convention will be held at Bokakhat on February, 2009. In the meeting
attended by Parliamentary Secretary Sarat Saikia, a reception committee
has been formed with MLA Giten Gogoi as chairman and Parag Saikia and
Prasanta Saikia as secretaries in this regard and an approximate budget
of Rs 22 lakh has been worked out.
