i think a sizeable nos of members of this forum are Natives and aboriginal
peoples of Assam. But, it is seen that very less nos of members take part in
the discussions regarding the Bangladeshi problem in Assam/India. I believe,
the General perception is -"only narrow minded people are making hue and cry
about the Bangladeshi issue"
if it is so D.N. Bezboruah, D.N. Chakraborty, Deben Dutta are also narrow
minded??
I think, The mistake and betrayal by former leaders of AASU/AGP about the
problem does not make the issue a non-issue. The problem has become more
complex due to this kind of indifference and 3-decades of sleeping of the
Assamese!
