October 17, 2008 Indeed, Bhaskar is very right in his analysis of the events took place in Darrang District. When I am visisting home in Assam, I took an opportunity to visit part of the affected area and a few relief camps close to Kalaigaon and Dhula. Let us not polticize the agony of people. Politics in our society is vulturous business -- looking for dead bodies of the people. OUR PEOPLE NEED HELP -- POLITICAL GIMMICKS. I intend to report further eye-witnessed account at a later date when I will be back to the US. Atul Sarma
