I just looked at the z/VSE CVT macro and it shows "HBB4420". That is *really* old stuff! Maybe someone should suggest they pull the macros again from z/OS 1.12. I realize they have to adjust some of them manually (e.g., add SIMSVC and so forth) so maybe they don't have have the development man hours necessary to retrofit and test those changes. But, it sure would make coding in the VSE world easier. Presumably, if they ever decide to support 64-bit virtual addressing they will need to extract the MVS macros again.
