Binyamin Thank You 1) Do You have any more information as to TIOT manager -or- is there any doc available ?
2) When The application opens there files Dynamic Allocation steps in to allocate the files. After many opens the Dynamic Allocation returns with no space available in TIOT. This is not a File Owning Region so I suspect there is another underlying issue. ---------- Original Message ---------- From: Binyamin Dissen <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: Re: TIOT Date: Thu, 10 Mar 2011 15:10:52 +0200 On Thu, 10 Mar 2011 12:38:13 GMT "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: :>I seem to recall that the TIOT was chained from the TCB. :>Now does that mean that each TCB (within and Address Space) will be allocated a TIOT regardless of any dataset allocated by that TCB ? The change was not made by a CICS nor MVS Sys Prog, but from a DB2/DBA. Know one can tell me what exactly the performance issue was exactly. Not obvious to me why this would cause performance problems. Why do you need a bigger TIOT? -- Binyamin Dissen <[email protected]> http://www.dissensoftware.com Director, Dissen Software, Bar & Grill - Israel Should you use the mailblocks package and expect a response from me, you should preauthorize the dissensoftware.com domain.
