A pernicious manifestion of Conway's law. There are two sets of
documentation, not always in sync, and two sets of M&C, not always
in sync, and having different prefixes. On not finding a message
code in LOOKAT, I have been advised to change the prefix and try
again.

We have ISPF, but not HLASM TK. At least once I have opened an
APAR on ISRSUPC and received with the closure the advice that
the PTF will be generated first for ASMFSUPC, then adapted to
ISRSUPC.

IBM would provide better service for its customers, and almost
certainly an economy for itself if SuperC existed as a separate
FMID, bundled with both HLASM TK and ISPF.

For the component prefix a neutral one, neither ASMF nor ISR
would be a satisfactory resolution. I recommend locking the
developers in a chapel and not feeding them until white smoke
billows from the chimney.
