Ah! I understand better. I was thinking you were meaning the individual 
messages were useless. But the problem is filter out the __important__ ones. 
Looks like my MVS SYSLOG when I start up CA7 after an IPL. There is so much 
junk coming out of CA7 that I can't find anything which might actually be 
important. To a lesser extent, it happens when I start up 3 or more CICS 
regions at the same time. I've learned not to do that any more! <grin>.

I sometimes use CA-OPS/MVS to "solve" this by using a rule to suppress some 
messages even from the SYSLOG. They then only show up in the JESSYSMSG (or 
whatever its called) of the task.
