On the IBM website is an area called ANNOUNCEMENT LETTERS. That is where you can go to find out if a product (hardware or software) is removed.
There is a section for US, Eurpoe, Asia, etc. So depending on your location, you may have a different place to look. When I looked at the US announcement letters for software, it looks like it was remove prior to 1995. So only HLASM has been around since then.
