My question is why is the -9 the most current version. We have had the BC12 announcement since it came out and APAR 86821 (UK97444) which added a new OPCODE PPNO that is not in the -9 version. The PTF states 'Details of the new instructions added to HLASM for z/OS, z/VM and z/VSE can be found in the z/Architecture Principles of Operation manual.' So what is PPNO?
