The direction is to remove all Assembler from there mainframe software inventory. The problem is they have a 20+ year subssystem that is ligntening quick and cant eaily be replaced.
They do have a small staff of assembler programmers that maintains this subsystem. They are looking for another establishment to take this softwre subsystem over.
