I am converting some assembler programs from VSE to z/OS. Some use the CNTRL macro to skip lines and pages on reports, but it looks like the system is ignoring the function. In the manual, I read:

"The CNTRL macro is ignored for spooled SYSIN or SYSOUT data sets."

Is this saying that since we are using JES2 spooling, we have to do something different than the CNTRL macro? If so, what is the normal alternative that is used?
