Cold seems to be getting better.
I have a version in hg.linux-ha.org ("official" source control) which
passes current tests and appears to work reasonably well for machines
coming and going.
I saw an anomaly or two that I need to track down - but what I have is
getting better, and I'm going to bed now - so the cold doesn't get worse...
