Last night I ran a 10 hour test with two nanoprobes, and two hours with
three nanoprobes -- all without any communication-related problems.

To clarify, I had each nanoprobe run for between 15 and 30 seconds and
then stop - and then repeat the cycle.

No problems starting and registering, none in stopping. This is the
kind of test that I've been running for the past several days.

Lots of little things had caused communication problems in the past - in
spite of the previous successes ;-).

At the moment, I seem to have fixed all those this set of tests will
find. [The observant will notice the abundance of weasel-words in the
previous sentence].

It is worth noting that there is another bug I'll have to fix before
releasing -- of course. (not counting making improving the build and
install procedure).

This bug relates to discovery of services...

Currently the code adds each service to the database - even if it's
already in the database. Because of the continual restarts, I had
gotten to something like 45K services in the database before I
discovered the problem and cleaned it out. OOPS ;-)

Anyway, still making good progress. It's all pushed up to the mercurial
repository.

I'll start another set and then go to bed :-D.
