Hi,
Yesterday afternoon I started the latest series of tests - and they are
still running successfully this morning! That's about 17 hours of
continuous testing, and more than 5000 server connect/disconnect
operations. It was equivalent to watching 5000 server reboots.
This means that the UDP code is probably good enough for the first
release. There were no exceptions in the python code, and each of the 3
clients doing the random connect/disconnect operations connected
successfully each time.
Now I just have to look at the Trello list for other things that I still
want to do before the release. Fortunately, the things left are MUCH
simpler than the UDP code.
On a completely different front, I also created "Assimilation Systems
Limited" as a legal entity to hold the contributor agreements. So one
of the next non-code steps will be to finalize a contributor agreement
and put it up on the web site.
WOOT WOOT!
