Seeking a resource who is highly qualified and experienced with JavaScript and JQuery. Main challenges include enhancing mega drop-down menus that will be used by client’s sites to be highly usable and accessible. JavaScript Developer responsibilities may include: Write JavaScript, while leveraging frameworks and using a progressive enhancement strategy. Lead enhancement of the following design concepts Mega drop-down Left navigation with expansions Resolve browser compatibility or accessibility problems Mentor staff on JavaScript issues. Qualifications: The candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications: Be expert level in Ajax, JavaScript and JQuery as demonstrated by previous work Possess excellent front-end Web Development (CSS and HTML) skills Be conscious of accessibility and web standards Be able to function well in a consulting environment Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong written English communication skills.
