*Job Summary: *

*The Sr. Business Analyst will collaborates with business process owners
and subject matter experts to define, develop / configure, *

*test and adopt new or enhanced information technology capabilities that
support Data Sciences operational and strategic goals. *

This individual must work closely with the business leadership, IT
leadership,

and peers to understand the capabilities required by the business, to
assess the current state, and to develop requirements specifications that
support the business strategy.

*Responsibilities: *

• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements
workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios,
business analysis, task and workflow analysis, as appropriate.

• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile
conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from
low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user
requests from the underlying true needs.

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal
customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and
deliver the following artifacts as needed:

User Requirements Specifications, Functional Specifications, Use Cases,
GUI, Screen and Interface designs, logical data models.

• Collaborate with technology stakeholders and subject matter experts to
establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and
performance needs.

• Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and
external customers) and the software development team through which
requirements flow.

• Identify the impact and any gaps between system capabilities and business
requirements; and map capabilities to requirements to ensure that business
needs are met.

Develop business area process models, activity diagrams and use cases, if
required.

• Identify and/or establish appropriate testing metrics/targets to validate
that business requirements are being met (e.g., performance metrics,
process deliverables, traceability, business value). Develop and manage
data to be utilized for UAT test cases.

• Coordinate the translation of business and user requirements into test
conditions and expected results for user acceptance testing (UAT). Support
testing activities, as appropriate

• Understand project management and contribute to defining work plans and
keeping track of progress.

• Assist the Information Management / Technology Leaders and the PMO in
coordinating, producing and tracking project deliverables.



*Skills Required: *

*• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, required *

*• Strong Customer and Business Relationship Management skills, required *

• Systems Development Life Cycle (Analysis through Implementation),
required

• Business process modeling, visualization, requirements documentation
tools exposure, a plus



*Healthcare Industry Knowledge Required: *

• Pharmaceutical, Bio-Technology, or Life Science/Healthcare industry
experience, required

• Experience with Clinical Systems (Trial or Data Management) or
Research/Clinical Lab Systems (ELE or ~omics), or Translational/Clinical
Informatics, highly desirable

• Experience with GxP validated, 21 CRF Part 11 compliant computer systems,
a plus



Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree is relevant field (Science, Information Technology,
Business Management) or required. Master Degree preferred
