*Visa : USC / GC* *Interview mode: Phone then Skype* *The Informatica Administrator* will be responsible for Informatica software installation, configuration, and support with on premise Informatica products. The successful candidate will have broad technical expertise and the ability to pursue issues and perform root cause analysis focused on immediate and long-term solutions. This role is considered a key member of the Data Services Department and will participate in *design, development, and deployment of Data Warehouse / ETL / BI solutions.* *This position’s primary responsibility will be Informatica administration within DEV, TEST, PREPROD, PROD environments. * Responsibilities include support in handling and/or coordinating Event, Incident and Problem Management associated with Informatica issues and working directly with support provided by Informatica. The candidate will work closely with the Architecture Team, providing operational support to development teams for new client solutions and deployments, maintenance, and technical issues associated with Informatica solutions. This position is responsible for managing schedules, work processes, and maintenance procedures of the servers and services required to deliver data to the business. *Responsibilities:* •Installing and configuring Informatica components, including high availability; managing server activations and de-activations for all environments; ensuring that all systems and procedures adhere to organizational best practices *•Day to day administration of the Informatica Suite of services (PowerCenter, IDS, Metadata, Glossary and Analyst). * *•Informatica capacity planning and on-going monitoring (e.g. CPU, Memory, etc.) to proactively increase capacity as needed. * •Manage backup and security of Informatica Infrastructure. •Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures. •Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as software upgrades.
