*Ideal Candidate will have*

   - Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Waterfall
   and Agile methodologies.
   - Solid understanding in Relational Database SQL, Analyzing data using
   database tools, Object Oriented Programming Concepts.
   - Ability to work independently with limited direction and collaborate
   with extended teams.
   - Ability to create Test Plans, test scripts and support/lead User
   Acceptance Testing.
   - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
   - Experience in mentoring less experienced BAs/Testers.
   - Experience in working with multiple vendors as part of  solution
   implementations
   - Tools: MS suite, Visio, Clarity, enterprise tester, ALM, TFS, HP Load
   runner etc.



*Experience*

   - Minimum 7 years of Test Lead experience in the retail domain.
   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
   - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
   - Traditional QA skills, including ability to create various testing
   artifacts, creation and execution of test plans, create and execution of
   test scripts and support UAT.
   - Ability to present and explain project specific information to diverse
   types of audiences.
   - Identifying process improvements and take lead on ongoing initiatives.
   - Experience in implementing software solutions in a retail environment,
   including POS implementation, ATG and/or sterling commerce.



*Deliverables*

   - Traditional QA Lead artifacts, Test Strategy documents, Test plans,
   Test Cases, Test Scripts, various reports and User Acceptance Testing
   documents etc.



*Technical Skill Sets*

   - Solid understanding in Relational Database SQL, Analyzing data using
   database tools, Object Oriented Programming Concepts.



*Requirements (non-technical skills)*

   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
   - Ability to present and explain project specific information to diverse
   types of audiences.



*Job Responsibilities*

   - Help in defining Test Strategy for various projects.
   - Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants
   required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder
   support for this plan.
   - Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and
   budget required to perform the testing.
   - Create Testing documents / artifacts are documented and maintained.
   - Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as
   per standards defined by the organization and project.
   - Create, Check / Review the Test Cases documents.
   - Create and Execute Test scripts as required
   - Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the
   Project.
   - Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware,
   Resources) to Project leadership.
   - Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly
   etc.) to the project team and high level management.
   - Facilitation of inter-team communication across many agile projects
   within an organization.
   - Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing
   results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and
   their status, performance baselines etc.
   - Create various reports for the leadership on testing activities.
   - Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at
   the completion of project.
   - Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and
   execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites.
   - Presenting an aggregate view of testing utilization to high level
   management.
   - Personal support, mentoring, and professional development for BSA/
   testers.
