Hi Thomas,
It seems that on the iworld site the 2.20 version is still 2.19?
I'd love to give this version a test drive!

Pascal, >What is going wrong then ? I've done some test's with
1.3.6_2.18 and there was the same result - sorry. In version
1.3.6_2.19-te is a redesigned part for TNEF-conversion. Using your
winmail.dat files, I've got perfect results testing this new code in
a small test-application (I do not get TNEF mails). So let me know,
if there are any problems in TNEF conversion. Thomas

Pascal,

TNEF attachment mostly have several parts:
1. - message part(s) - with text messages (plain or ....)
2. - attachment part(s) - with attached files
x. - MAPI specific part(s) - with information about
ms-office-converters and all MAPI stuff
and maybe there are some other types of parts - this does'nt
matter.
The TNEF conversion code is looking for the first two types in the
TNEF-attachment and should try to convert them in MIME parts. If
there
is no convertable part found, you'll get the LOG like:
Jan-12-08 19:16:58 Info: no convertable ms-tnef parts found in
tnef-attachment for .....
To get more information about, what is done in the conversion code
-
in the dev versions ASSP will be "talkative" - this will be changed
in
prod versions!
Ok because i did some testing and none of the attachments did convert
to
mime. I am just receiving winmail.dat files instead of the normal
attachements, and saw these loggings pass by. What is going wrong
then ?
Thanks for the good job !
