I did the same and also got:

but contrary to Paul's situation my ASSP says:
     Mail::SPF module version v2.005 installed and available

spf seems to work usually but often (12%) I get this error:
     SPF2OK: Can't call method "contains" on an undefined value at
D:/Perl/site/lib/Mail/SPF/Mech/IP4.pm line 148.
