I'm sorry too Fritz. Sorry you wasted time when it could have been on  
better development. There is no sense in making ASSP try to work  
around every glitch in every MTA.

ASSP has been around very long. No one else ever has had this problem,  
because everyone else would be anxious to fix their destination MTA.

Stupid bare LF, it causes no harm.  The only time I see it a problem
Is my outgoing queue stalls with messages that are trying over and  
over to send a message that never will send. So I wait 8 hours to  
expire an error tgst should reject.

Qmail is responsible for wasted hours of many an admin.

Please keep up the work on ASSP, but please do not bother making it  
work around broken systems.
