Not necessarily.  ASSP's just an in-between-man trying not to look like
an in-between-man (aka Proxy).  It's not going to always show
"everything".

No (complex) software is completely without flaw.  It's possible that it
has simply taken 7 years for your Qmail to show one (unevidenced by
logging).  Or, maybe it is a problem with ASSP.  But you need to show
proof or it can be difficult to diagnose.  That's typically the first
thing Fritz asks for in any case.  

Since you are unable to get anything in either of your logs, I would
suggest running a tcp/ip packet capture (example: Wireshark or
Packetyzer) and analyzing those logs.  You'll find out just what is
happening that way.
