I only asked for an extra logentry which is generic and isn't meant for this specific situation. I have had more than 10 ideas for ASSP in the past which have been implemented and may even be of use to you at this moment. I think this idea is for everyone's benefit as well. Of course it's something I would like to see, but I have never asked for something that was only for my own benefit.
You are constantly talking about a patch in ASSP for Qmail's shortcomings. These are your words. If ASSP was a mail-relay instead of a proxy I would have had a lot less logging than I have with ASSP, but the crucial one, the acception or rejection of the mail, would have been in that log. Qmail and this "bare lf" is not what I had in mind when asking for this extra logentry. I don't even understand why it’s not something you want too...
