OK, I installed 1.7.1.0(RC0.0.1) and traps don't work anymore. I made a telnet
smtp session (sender [email protected]) over the internet and tried to send to
[email protected] which is in the PBTrapCache and despite that I got the
following log

Feb-24-10 17:02:23 LDAP Results
(&(|(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user))(objectClass=publicFolder))(proxyAddresses=SMTP:[email protected])):
 0 : ;Feb-24-10 17:02:23 id-27314-07454 [InvalidAddress] 79.207.7.183
<[email protected]> user unknown [email protected];

Excerpt from the trap cache:

[email protected]1267012623 1267027343 8 1

MakeTraps is set to "use for spamtrapaddresses".
SetMakeFrequency is set to 1!!!

PBTrapCacheExp is set to 168!

I realy can not understand why this very good working feature has been changed.
It definitely does not work anymore and a very useless ldap search is done
instead.

I released 1.7.1.0 rc.

I did not remove the feature, I changed it already in 1.6.5.5.

-Use Unknown Addresses as Trap Addresses (MakeTraps) Unknown addresses in
heavy use can be used as spamtrapaddresses or spamaddresses.

-Unknown Address Frequency (SetMakeFrequency) Minimum frequency per hour
before an unknown address will be used as Trap Address. For example 6.
