It may not be the preferred method. But, for as long as I've been using ASSP, it has worked just fine up until these latest releases. The instructions say: Any mail sent or forwarded by local/authenticated users to this username will be interpreted as a false-positive report. (I've not had issues with it in the past that I'm aware of.)
