What is your assp-setting for 'ThreadStackSize' ?
set it to 32 if it is 0 (your system default 8192)
or change *stack size in ulimit to 32 MB

Subject: [Assp-test] Antwort: Segment fault in ASSP version
2.0.2(3.2.29) under Perl 5.12.4
Huu.... !
Anders - this is hard to fix. I can remember some Segfaults in 2009 and Q1
2010
(nix:)
1. check if ulimit is set right
*asspuser@smtp01:~# ulimit -a
*core file size (blocks, -c) 0
*data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
*scheduling priority (-e) 0
*file size (blocks, -f) unlimited
*pending signals (-i) 16382
*max locked memory (kbytes, -l) 64
*max memory size (kbytes, -m) unlimited
*open files (-n) 1024
*pipe size (512 bytes, -p) 8
*POSIX message queues (bytes, -q) 819200
*real-time priority (-r) 0
*stack size (kbytes, -s) 8192
*cpu time (seconds, -t) unlimited
*max user processes (-u) unlimited
*virtual memory (kbytes, -v) unlimited
*file locks (-x) unlimited
2. enough RAM ?
*3 Gb
3. CPU's are at low workload?
*load average: 0.10, 0.11, 0.03
4. DNS server(s) are realy fast?
*Yes running Bind locally on ASSP server(s)
*xxx.xxx.xxx.200: ResponseTime = 2 ms
*xxx.xxx.xxx.201: ResponseTime = 2 ms
*208.67.222.222: ResponseTime = 27 ms
*208.67.220.220: ResponseTime = 27 ms
5. are any modules installed using the --force option at CPAN? (this
should no be happen on nix)
*no
6. is Perl installed from a distro or self compiled (self compiled is
recommended)
*Self Compiled
7. are all modules compiled with the same compiler that was used for Perl?
*Yes
(windows:)
1. RAM ?
2. CPU ?
3. DNS ?
Try to use another Perl version.
