thank you, this explain the different behavior. All seems to be ok now with maxsize except of now I am seeing another prob , always with attachments.
look this (from smtp connection list) 209.85.215.181 mail-ey0-f181.google.com d...@gmail.com i...@dr.net 0 0 868825 491 0.0.05 ASSP seems to be very very slow to download attachments , 491 seconds and counting in smtp connection list, to download an attachment of 1.6 MB . I returned to 1.9.5.0(0.0.13) , I sent the same 1.6 MB attachment , and it's processed in less than 10 seconds in the smtp connection list . Tested 3 times in 1.9.5.0(0.0.13) and 0.0.05 I always replicated this issue in 0.0.05 , big delays to download attachments .
