> Perl 5.8.8 is no longer supported

You announced several months ago that this would be at some point near the end
of the year, but I did not see any announcement of the version from which 5.8.8
would not be supported.

Could you please tell the list (again, perhaps) which version is the latest
that 5.8.8 users (i.e. at least Mac OS X Server Leopard (10.5.8) should be able
to use? Thanks. :-)

FWIW, all seemed to be well with assp until a version or two ago (I am
currently using version 2.1.2(11342), but may go back a version or two to
restore stability). Currently, after a change in my SSL certificate, assp has
been doing all sorts of wacky things. For example, after several tens of
minutes after assp startup, the export of the extremeBlacklist is performed
several times per second....

Then there's getting TLS back up and working from what had been a very stable
state.

I hate to leave the beta list and the latest version, but Apple has made the
upgrades to OS X Server Lion more than a little problematic for me. I'll catch
up with you all when I can get Lion working satisfactorily.
