ASSP is developed using perl 5.26. The code statements are hold compatible
down to perl 5.10. That means, the code will not throw compile errors
because of the usage of an older perl. It does not mean, that the code is
running performant - nor does it mean that newer module versions can be
build for older perl versions.

Then why does ASSP include it in its list of modules to update? The
"silent crashing" is directly due to one of ASSP's high workers hanging
on an attempt to update it.
